Web
Web-volunteers write daily articles for publishing on filmfrasor.no during the Films from the South festival. As a writer you produce interviews with festival guests, cover events and convey samples from the film program. All articles are translated into English. The Web team is also responsible for creating video clips from panel debates and other events.

Guests
Every year, about 15 international guests visit Films from the South. Guests are greeted upon arrival, and receive close follow-up during the festival by our own guest guides, ensuring that guests are on time for appointments and screenings, and that they see the best of Oslo. It is preferable that you speak languages other than English and Norwegian, and that you are flexible during daytime on the festival dates.

Events
The event group provides the practical implementation of, among others, the Opening Party, Club Night, Closing Party and two parties for volunteers. The group is responsible for decoration, security, rigging, dining, shopping and other practical tasks - with a common goal of creating the best parties!

Info
Info staff is the festival's public face. Your task is to be well informed about the film program, to answer practical questions related to the festival, to inspire the visitors and ensure visibility and availability of information on the festival venues.

Distribution
This group ensures that Films from the South is visible before and during the festival. It distributes the program magazine in cafes, locations of screenings, cultural houses and other venues where it is important for the festival to have information available. During the festival, the group is responsible for the program magazines and posters to be visible on the screening locations. It is an advantage if you know the city well, and that you have a driving license.

We welcome you as a volunteer in August.
