All across the globe people have started chowing down on ramens. If you’re a fan, or just curious, we welcome you to join us for a rare culinary and sensory experience on November 11, when we’ll be showing the documentary film Ramen Heads for FREE at 7 p.m.
We’re setting up a screening in Oslo’s new culinary mecca – Vippa, an old, repurposed waterfront shed. Bowls by Trio will be selling ramen from their pop-up food stall from 6 p.m.
The screening starts at 7 p.m.
Masaru Inage, the owner of Norway’s first ramen restaurant, will be there to introduce the film.
The screening is free, so show up well in advance to secure a seat!
Follow the screening’s FB-event here.
About the film
Ramen is eaten by people all over the world, but the fact that almost an entire Japanese population fed on ramen after World War Two is perhaps less known. Director Koki Shigeno invites us into a world ruled by the best ramen chefs and their most devoted fans, called ”ramen heads,” in a film that doubles as informative documentary and good old-fashioned food porn.
