Farming the Revolution Film & Conversation Buy tickets

Farming the Revolution shows how one person can create ripple effects that make a difference to an entire country.

Young farmer Gurbash Sangha from Punjab drove his tractor 400 kilometers to the capital Delhi to protest the government's undemocratic law for sale of agricultural products. He eventually got half a million farmers from across the country to participate in the protests, which eventually led to the law being repealed.

State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bjørg Sandkjær (SP), will open the screening, and afther the screening there will be a panel discussion on the increasingly undemocratic rule in India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and how non-violent rebellion from the grassroots can be fruitful.
