Chunking Express follows two love-starved police officers that frequently end up at the Midnight Express, a fast-food joint. Faye, the young woman working there, is totally possessed by California Dreaming by The Mamas and Papas. She falls in love with police officer 663 and starts snooping around his apartment.
Police officer 223 falls in love late one night at a bar with a woman in a blond wig and sunglasses that turns out to be involved in heroin trafficking.
Chunking Express typifies 1990´s film (plenty of hand-held camera action and high cool factor) and is one of the decades best.
