Infernal Affairs

An energetic manuscript and the coolest Asian actors, Andy Lau and Tony Leung, make this film thrilling and pleasant viewing. Lau (Ming) is a police officer who has managed to infiltrate the triads, while Leung (Yan) is a triad member working undercover for the police. Both our protagonists have loyalty conflicts towards their primeval employers, as their friendships with their new acquaintances grow stronger. Pressure rises with suspicions about a mole, and a game of life and death begins.
