The drama in Hong Kong continues, marked by internal affairs in the triads!
The period is 1991-1997, and the Chinese will soon be taking over Hong Kong. From the previous perspective in the first film of the two moles, Lau (Ming) and Leung (Yan), we now focus on the murder of one of the triads' most powerful bosses, Kwun. His assassination results in an internal struggle for power between the remaining bosses, and to everybody's surprise it is Kwun´s son, Hau, who stands strongest. He has been lying low as his fathers accountant, but now he comes forward full of brutality and drive. A blood bath seems unavoidable. This may be the most fascinating episode in the trilogy, with an honest portrayal of the greed and cynicism that inhabits a person who seeks power.
