Ghosts of Cité Soleil

When Christhopher Columbus discovered Haiti in 1492 he called it a paradise on Earth. Today the island is ranked as the eleventh worst place to live in the world. In the capital of Port-au-Prince the brothers 2Pac and Bily live, gang leaders and mental prisoners of Haiti’s political war. Their gang is called Chimere (the Ghosts) and is feared by all.

This is a musically engaging story about how the slum dwellers of Haiti’s capital are prisoners of President Aristide’s political manipulation and violence. It is a life without hope and opportunity. Weapons are all they have, except the strength they find in love and music. baa
