Avellaneda's Moon

During the carnival celebrations of 1959 the local club for social activities and sports, La Luna, was teeming with life and hectic activity. Nowadays it’s a mere shadow of its former self. Director Juan José Campanella concludes his trilogy about the Argentinean middle class with this film. The characters gradually make their way back to a sense of community, and experience how being part of a group can influence the individual. red
