CLIMATE REFUGEES

In recent years we have witnessed massive destructions caused by climate disasters. In the future, we will experience an increasing number of climate refugees. In the documentary Climate Refugees, Michael Nash travels the world to document the effects of climate disasters. He meets both climate refugees and high-ranking experts who all agree on one thing: We must act before it's too late. When the water rises, densely populated areas are in extreme danger.

We ask who is responsible for the development and if it can be reversed. Alice Thomas from Refugees International discusses with Ilan Kellman from CICERO, Børre Skodvin from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design and Climate Adviser for Norwegian Refugee Council Vikram Kolmannskog. Elisabeth Eide from the University of Oslo will lead the discussion.

Regular screenings of Climate Refugees on Sunday October 9th at 7 pm, Wednesday October 12th at 5 pm and Thursday October 13th at 8.15 pm on Klingenberg 4.
