Don’t be fooled by the title, which is an ironic take on the institution where most young Japanese (even many married couples) go to have sex due to lack of privacy at home. The film is a part of Nikkatsu’s soft porn genre named «Roman Porno», but is definitely NOT a sex film. With its sensitivity and very bleak portrayal of sex, it rather is a complete negation of the genre. ds
