National Parks and Indigenous Territories – the Norwegian cut
In the 1960's the Villa-Baos brothers managed to have the upper part of the Xingu river legally protected. A debate on indigenous territories vs. classical protected areas will follow the screening of Cao Hamburger's film Xingu. We have invited Lars Løvold (Rainforest Foundation Norway), Verana Glass (Xingu Alive Forever Movement) and the Minister of International Development, Heikki Holmås, to sit in the panel.
