The Good Life

Four strangers share the hope of a more meaningful life in the busy city of Santiago. Mario - a classical clarinetist - spends his time fantasizing about the philharmonic orchestra, but ends up in a police band. Theresa works in the public health sector, and has given her life to trying to convince prostitutes to use protection, but fails to notice that her teenage daughter is pregnant. Edmundo, a forty-plus beautician, still lives with his mother and struggles to take the driver`s seat in his own life. The fourth character is a woman somewhere in the city who falls in love with a bank employee, but is unable to share her feelings with him. In the course of three days we catch a glimpse of these people’s fantasies, hopes and disappointments. mfe
