Blood-C: The Last Dark
The influential politician Fumito Nanahara rules Tokyo with an iron fist. Because of the Youth Protection Ordinance, minors have a curfew at night and restricted access and use of the internet. Despite of the regulations, young citizens of Tokyo gather to fight for their freedom. It soon becomes clear that there is more to Fumito than meets the eye. When the rebel group Sirrut encounters vile, mysterious creatures, it seems that the rebels have bitten over more than they can chew. With amazing animations Blood-C depicts jaw-dropping action scenes. Tokyo is a clean, shiny city. But that is only until things start to go wrong. lh

Naoyoshi Shiotani is one of Japan’s promising young animation artists with a broad experience from the animation industry. Through the studio Production I.G. Naoyoshi Shiotani worked on Blood+ (2005-2006) where he truly showed his talent. His debut as a director came with the animated film Tokyo Marble Chocolate (2007).
