Postcards from Leningrad
We are in Venezuela during the 60s. An American voice presents to us the attractive city of Caracas while the images show a dancing crowd during a carnival. After a short introduction by the film narrator, we witness the birth of a little girl. She is to live with her grandfather and cousin, Teo. Shortly after, we discover that her parents are members of the Venezuelan guerrilla, and the rest of the film describes in a dreamlike manner the political events of that time as they were seen and experienced by the little girl: as a kind of theatre where it is difficult to say who is who. fm
