Wild Tales

Have you ever been behind an idiot in traffic, or met a parking attendant that simply didn't want to understand logic? Then Wild Tales is the film for you. Through six everyday situations, we follow ordinary people that are pushed beyond their limits. What happens when you act on impulse instead of controlling your feelings? The result is dark, morbid, and hilarious. Despite the terribly dark humour, most people will recognise the feeling and enjoy watching the people that let it all loose. With a dream team of Argentinian actors, director Damián Szifrón has made what was one of the Cannes festivals big audience hits. eg

Damián Szifrón (b. 1975) has written and directed several series for television in Argentina, including Los simuladores (2008) and Hermanos y detectives (2006-2009). He has also directed short films and two feature films. Despite the success in his home country, Wild Tales will most likely be our audience' first meeting with Szifrón.
