Ash Is Purest White
Ash Is Purest White is an epic gangster/love story from Jia Zhangke, Chinas foremost cinematix poet of this century. It follows a young woman Qiao, who has been forced to relocate to a different region due to the great changes that have taken part in China, and who manages thanks to the help of her boyfriend who runs a gambling club. But can their love last? After serving five years in prison to save Bin's ass, she travels across the country to find him - but the journey turns out to be more difficult than she could imagine.
