This thriller has a premise taken right out of Alfred Hitchcock's classic Rear Window: A man in a wheel chair is witness to a person being killed in his own back yard, whereupon he embraces the role of voyeur and manipulator. Unlike Hitchcock's elegant original, Number 37 strives for rawness, grit, and authenticity. Randal, a crippled small-time crook bound to a wheelchair, is in debt to a brutal gangster, and tries to blackmail a group of tough criminals in order to pay what he owes. His scheme works up until a certain point, but the stakes become higher as Randal and his girlfriend lose control over their little game. CFO
