The Jungle Book
Treat yourself to a rewatch of The Junge Book! Mowgli, a young boy, has grown up in a family of wolves, but now he is threatened by the tiger Shere Kan who hates humans, and he must leave the only place where he feels at home. Mowgli embarks on a journey to find out where he really belongs – in the jungle or among humans? – accompanied by different animals: the panther Bagheera who wants to help him, Baloo the bear who just wants to enjoy life, the snake Ka, the monkey King Louie, and many more. This story has been made into film before, but his 2016 version is something special. It is a live action film with computer animated animals that look incredibly authentic, which adds a special nerve to the story.
American director Jon Favreau started his career as an actor for film and TV. He went on to become a director, and is behind major productions such as Elf, Iron Man, The Jungle Book, and the latest re-release of Disney's The Lion King.
